Alessandra Sozzi
Alessandra Sozzi is responsible for developing the PortWatch online platform, visuals and the backend data production and automation flow. She is a Data Scientist in the IMF’s Statistics Department. She brings the experience of developing the IMF Climate Change Indicators Dashboard and other internal data platforms. Her research focuses on the use of big data and non-traditional data sources in the context of official statistics and in the development of new high-frequency indicators. She has extensive experience in the use of several big data and geospatial technologies, data visualization libraries/tools and data presentation techniques. Alessandra holds a MSc in Data Science & Analytics from the Royal Holloway – University of London.
